Community
Central Animal Hospital is committed to the local community and periodically hosts car washes at their location on busy Fourth Street North for area youth sports and school fundraisers as well as yard sales to benefit animal-related not-for-profit organizations.

Both technicians and doctors participate in the Great American Teach-In at local schools to educate children about the veterinary profession.

Staff members have also extended their compassion to others by donating gifts for at-risk and/or needy children at Christmas-time.

Central Animal Hospital supports our local SPCA chapter by sponsoring their annual PAWS ON PARADE Pet Walk. Staff members also have fun participating in the annual Festival of States Parade in downtown St. Petersburg with other area businesses (photos below).

Central Animal Hospital is a proud supporter of the SPCA Tampa Bay.

Dr. Faber has been an active member of the Northeast Exchange Club of St. Petersburg, Florida for 4 years. The Exchange is a group of men and women working to make America a better place to live through one national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse, as well as other community projects. The Northeast Exchange Club is responsible for organizing and staffing our local Ribfest each year. Ribfest is a 3 day outdoor concert event with plenty of food and fun but in reality it is a charity fund raiser, with all proceeds going to All Children’s Hospital, child abuse prevention programs, college scholarships and other children related charities. Dr. Faber and employees of Central Animal Hospital volunteer their time to make this great community event possible. In addition, Dr. Faber organized the NEX’s “Service to Seniors” project this year which gave the Neighborly Care Network’s Meals On Wheels Senior Center in Seminole a new look by painting the exterior of the building.
